Financial Assistance to Widows of Ex-servicemen for daughter's marriage

Scheme: RMEWF — financial assistance for the marriage of an ex-serviceman's daughter (Kendriya Sainik Board). Amount: ₹50,000 per daughter, for up to two daughters. Who can apply: ex-servicemen and widows up to the rank of Havildar. The application must be made within 180 days of the marriage. Required documents — all of these must be scanned and uploaded with the online application: 1. Attested copy of the ex-serviceman's discharge book. 2. The widow's identity card, issued by the District Sainik Welfare Office. 3. The widow's Aadhaar card. 4. Proof of residence (ration card, voter ID and so on). 5. Marriage certificate. 6. Pension Payment Order (PPO). 7. Proof of the daughter's age (birth certificate). 8. Death certificate, if the ex-serviceman has died. 9. Bank account details, for the NEFT transfer. 10. Proof of the daughter's name, as recorded in the discharge book or Part-II order. 11. The wedding invitation. 12. Recent passport-size photographs of the applicant and the daughter.
